Trouble syncing Deck with desktop

I still have trouble syncing Deck with the OBS on my laptop, despite following the instructions andadvice given on the subject. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the deck app yet I still have trouble syncing the two.

Hey all, 

If you are running into issues here, please make sure your computer is connected to your network as a private network and not a public network in your network settings. This will allow your devices to talk to each other.

Could you let us know what specific issue you’re running into?

 

Any errors?

 

Have you allowed Streamlabs OBS through your firewall? 

Hey, @ghosteez I’m having a similar problem with my connectivity. 

Hopefully, there’s a workaround for connecting the Streamlabs Deck iOS app to the Streamlabs OBS Mac (OSX).

Both apps are up to date

Both iPhone (13.3.1) and Macbook Pro (Mojave) are on the same Wifi network

QR Code or entering the information manually have both been unsuccessful

The current self-help fixes seem to only be targeted toward Windows PCs
