Streamlabs Remote Control - No Scenes

So sometime in this last week my SLOBS app reset itself and I needed to relog using the QR code. Previously, it was working appropriately and letting me transition between all scenes, but now it is only seeing the initial "Starting Soon" and nothing else. I can't seem to find anything about it anywhere, which doesn't really surprise me as it is a brand new bug, but I don't know how to fix it.

Hey @PezLex that's is odd indeed, if you switch scenes from your pc, does the app updates to show the correct sources ?
Could you try to logout of the app, uninstall it - restart your phone - re-install the app and relog and see if the issue persist please.
Hey @Must sorry about the late response. We just moved and are still unpacking so responding might be a little slow. It looks like when I change scenes on the PC, the app changes to the scene specific settings slowly but still doesn't show the other scenes themselves to allow transition. After following the reinstall instructions there's been no change in its behavior.
@Must I have plenty of information on this as well. There are no scenes for any of my devices.

However! I have found that it is only occurring on the SLOBS Remote Control app. The issue is not present in Streamlabs Stream Live on any device that I have tested Android or iOS. So it looks like someone updated the app and broke something recently. It happens (I work in the biz too) I hope this helps.

As a side note: The SLOBS Remote is awesome when it works. It's so much better than anything else out there and I want you to know that I guarantee it's appreciated. The only thing that I would like to recommend is to have the ability to change the stream title and game (category) within the standalone remote app. Right now it's only on the camera stream screen on the Streamlabs Stream Live app.

I have tested the following devices.

  • iPad Air iOS 12.4.1 (and a couple previous versions of iOS)
  • Nexus 6 Android 8.1
  • OnePlus 6 Android 9 and then the newest beta 25 (I know beta software isn't supported, but I wanted to point out that even a newer OS is not working.)
  • Xiaomi Mi8 Lite
PC Specs:
  • Ryzen 2700x non-overclocked
  • 64 GB DDR4 2933mhz 16-18-18-18-38-69 (XMP)
  • Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 64
  • AverMedia GC573
  • 850W Gold PSU
In all of these there are issues with Remote.

  • The Remote app just won't scan the QR code at all
  • If the QR code scans, there will be an error
  • If the remote somehow connects, no scenes are shown
  • Sometimes only the Collections are shown
  • Sometimes random Sources are missing
  • Sometimes the app just starts back up to the beginning getting started screen
(Steps applicable only to Android are not delineated from iOS in this list since there isn't much that can be done on iOS except completely reinstalling the app)

  • completely deleted the app from each device.
  • deleted the cache and data before deleting the app from the device.
  • deleted the cache and data and the stored APK before deleting the app from the device, restarting the device, and then downloading it again
  • reset the API key within SLOBS on Windows 10 1903 completely up to date with all drivers and BIOS up to date
  • Completely uninstalled SLOBS on my PC, restarted, and installed again
  • to be continued...

I’m not going to lie, since I had to stop using the Remote I completely forgot about this question. Having just checked, yes, the problem still exists.

I think I’ve found where the issue is stemming from. In testing I was able to get all my scenes to show up in the Remote App on both iOS and Android. I think the issue is caused by downloading the backup of the scenes.


To get my scenes to show in the remote app I duplicated a few of the scenes and then deleted the old ones. Poof. All of my scenes are now in the apps.

The new update seems to have fixed everything so far. Everything is looking good 

I have the exact same issue as listed above for about 2 weeks now. I’ve happily used this feature which for me is very convenient, but now on my Galaxy S10 there is no way to get it back. I’ve tried everything listed above, any updates on the progress on this so far?

@DJME_TV  Log out and close the app.


Uninstall it,  reinstall it, log back in and see if you have the same issue.

So I recently got an update (13th of February) to version 3.1.4+15, and still no luck. Everything works but the scenes are nowhere to be found.

same issue here, it was working fine untill Feb 13th… now no scenes, I can use other app to make macross for switching the scenes for now, but I need a fix ASAP </3

Hey there sorry for the inconvenience, we have released a new version, if you don’t see your scenes in the remote control then try to create a new scene collection and see if that works there.

When can I expect this version to be out for android (Galaxy S10)? The last update I waited for 2 months and it didn’t get fixed, so I hope this one gets pushed faster :)
