Ive added StreamLabs OBS and obs64 to the firewall, my network is private, I have 2FA, I’ve run SLOBS as admin, but all throughout the process when trying to set up SLOBS I get stuck at Optimizing 33% when performing the bandwidth test. Downloading the Twitch Server Test tool all NA servers fail. What do I do?

Hey there!

Are you using any additional firewall or antivirus program that could be causing the trouble?
You could also try:

We also have this guide here with additional solutions that may help:

I have reset my router and opened outbound port 1935 for TCP, the C++ Redistributables for 2017 tell me that I have a newer version already installed. I also have no addition firewall or antivirus program.

Hey there @roguematsby

Unfortunately, in this case, I would suggest contacting your ISP as a full failure indicates something between your location and the Twitch servers is being blocked / dropping packets.

I have since contacted my ISP and they assure me that they aren’t blocking anything, I reset my firewall to its default settings and add back the inbound and outbound opening of port 1935 and now the Twitch Bandwidth tool doesnt immediately report connections as failed, it tests each for the full 10 seconds i have it set to test and reports to me the RTT (i think thats the ping?) but all connections still fail. Is there anything else I can try in light of these changes?

@roguematsby  did you ever find a fix for this?

@ghosteez@Nevermind
I have this same problem. I assure you it’s not an ISP issue. I’ve also tried the same fixes that have been mentioned here but I am still stuck at 33% optimization. This issue has followed me between two houses in Vietnam (with different ISP’s at each), and now I am living in Australia and the issue still persists.

I’ve also fully uninstalled and installed streamlabs obs but still it doesn’t work.

I’m forced to use default OBS to stream but honestly Streamlabs OBS is much better. Wish I could use it again..
