Hey Darius,

This could be due to a faulty mic, cable, or electronic disturbance to your audio signal. You could try adding a noise gate or noise suppression filter to help with this. To do that, click the gear icon next to the mix/aux source in your audio mixer. If that does not help and you wish to ask more questions, please include details about your microphone equipment and how you have it set up with Streamlabs OBS.

Thanks

Hi ! For some odd reason I cannot create a new topic, and I can’t find any solution for the issue I’m having, so I’m posting my problem here. Sorry for the confusion, but I clearly am losing my mind trying to figure out what is wrong with my stream.

Here goes :

I am hosting a Twitch live on an MSI laptop, using the Rode Videomic (not the pro).

The problem is : the sound is extremely low. I have to boost it up and reduce the other sounds (desktop, alerts...), but by doing so it adds a constant background noise to the recording.

Using other softwares like Skype, or Discord, there is no problem with the sound, it is at an average volume and no background noise. It seems like I’m missing something with Streamlabs…

I tried updating to the latest Realtek drivers, looking for options to boost the micro up directly on Windows, but nothing really works : still low on Streamlabs, still this background noise.

What am I missing ? Can you help me ?
