FPS Issue in Game

Recently been streaming and in Call if Duty Modern Warfare I normally get 90 - 100FPS but when I turn OBS on it drops down to 60-70 frames and almost makes it unplayable cause it gives it a stuttering feeling with the fluctuation . I’ve honestly never checked what it looks like on stream.

But I streamed Doom Eternal over the last week and kept a stead 144fps in game and the 1080p 60fps crisp on stream. Is it that Call of Duty is ridiculously demanding?

System setup (1440p display)

GPU: 1080ti

CPU: i7 8700k

Ram: 32GB Corsair 3200mhZ

Storage: 1TB 970 Evo, 4TB WD Black, 1TB WD Blue

Hey all,

This is most likely a Windows related re-rendering issue. I suggest that you cap your in-game framerate to 120 or 60 and see how that helps!

Hey @OatsTheGoat,

Are you using multiple monitors that have  different refresh rates? If so, you could try capping all your monitors to 60 or 120 FPS or you could try plugging in your other monitor to your motherboard instead of your graphics card. Also, try enabling performance mode in Streamlabs OBS by right clicking in the margins of the editor window.

Let us know if that helps!

i have almost the same problem as that person

Trying to play at 144fps and stream at 60fps call of duty warzone

My processor is a ryzen 7 2700x Graphics Rtx 2080 16 ram Monitor 144 Asus
