I currently have AMD’s latest drivers however whenever I try to go live I still get the driver error. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting my pc but it still gives the error.

Hey there!

Could you try performing a clean installation by following the guide that best suits you, below:

For Nvidia:
https://howto.streamlabs.com/streamlabs-obs-19/nvidia-graphics-driver-clean-install-tutorial-7000

For AMD:
https://community.amd.com/thread/180667

For AMD, you would want to use the AMD link above. Let us know if a clean installation helps or if you continue to experience trouble.

I am facing the same problem, I have updated my Nvidia drivers to the latest with a clean install and every time I try to record I get prompted with “An error occurred with the output. This is usually caused by out of date video drivers. Please ensure your Nvidia or AMD drivers are up to date and try again”.

I am running SLOBS 0.20.2 if this is a known issue is there any way to fix it?

Same with my Nvidia! I have used my Elgato to stream on streamlabs many times, till just now. I keep receiving this error when I try to go live. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest drivers many time, but still does not work. please advise!

I have reinstalled the driver for my 2080TI twice and both times under a clean install.

Still have not been able to record.

I too have the same problem! how can i solve? otherwise I have to switch to another platform for stremming

i too have the same problem

Same issue as above, 1080ti, tried clean install, I can record when not streaming, just when I go to stream it fails

Same issue. I have followed all the steps and still cant go live. This is pretty frustrating.

same here with nvidia….

same here

I’ve reinstalled drivers following the web page instructions. Removed drivers, rebooted, installed clean and fresh, rebooted. Still can’t stream live.

I have the exact same issue with my GTX 1060 with NVDIA 445.87 driver install, I can stream but i can’t record

Hello @AbdouSopo !

Can you close Streamlabs, navigate to %appdata% , rename the slobs-client folder to _slobs-client and then start Streamlabs OBS?

I did this and my scenes were all lost. I was able to connect once more, bu all my saved settings were lost.

SLOBS 0.21.2 GTX 1050 Intel HD 620.

whenever i switch from integrated graphics GPU 0 to the 1050 GPU 1, in advanced output i get this error. A driver reinstall, cache clear, appdata clear, and application reinstall have not solved the problem.

This only occurs when using the “advanced” output, however my GPU performance severely degrades whenever using the “simple” output option. with only about 20% usage of the GPU and unplayable performance in any game I attempt.

Any news on this glitch as i haven’t been able to stream for a few days, I was planning on streaming daily throughout lockdown but I guess not :(

I’m having the same problem dude, I’ve tried asking but all they’ve said was the same thing that doesn’t work. Which is, reinstall the GPU Driver. I really hope there will be further instructions on how to actually fix this issue. I’ve seen a lot of comments about this %appdata% but I actually have no clue on how to get to that lmao.

For a couple of days now ive been having this issue and i thought it was mixer and twitch, now i see its the program. here is my setup and what ive been doing. please help. also have a Geforce Gtx 1050 Ti

i did this and it stills the same problem, it just creates another folder with the name slobs-client and if I rename the new one it makes another slobs-client
