Before You Begin:
Now after you've logged in, you should be asked if you want to import your profile from OBS-Studio (optional). If you do, we'll import your scenes from OBS exactly how they're currently set up.
For this tutorial, we'll start fresh.
Choose some widgets that you want to use. This is optional, but we recommend the Alert Box, Event List, and Tip Jar so you can reward your first fans for following, donating, and interacting with your stream.
The next step would be optimization, which will try to pick the best settings for your system.
Once all of the initial setup is done, you will then be presented with your editor, which will look familiar to people who've used OBS.
You can add new sources easily by clicking the + icon above the sources list
Anyone who has used OBS should be familiar with the settings menu, as we've kept most of the settings the same.
One of the largest changes in Streamlabs OBS vs any other streaming software, is the Theme Library, where you can view and install free overlays and themes.
We also have the live tab, which will combine your chat, recent events (streamlabels) and stream preview in one window.
Another nice thing is, you can edit your alerts and widgets without having to open your dashboard in your web browser.
Now once you have gotten everything setup the way you want, you should be good to start streaming. If you have any other questions, just leave them in the comments below!
