Hello! I’ve searched far and wide for an answer for this but no one else seems to have this issue.

When broadcasting my screen live to Twitch it won’t show my whole screen on Twitch. I’ve looked everywhere if there was an option to change the sizes, nothing.
(see picture for an example what viewers would see)

Here’s what they should see:

Someone help?
iPad Pro 10.5 inch

Thank you

Hello @Yanamari !

It’s indeed related to the difference in aspect ratio and we’ll see if/what we can do about it.
From what I’ve seen when it comes to streaming art from the iPad the most popular solution seems to be to run the drawing app on your iPad while streaming from a pc/laptop that captures the idead

Hey there @aston_lich We heard about this issue and believe it’s an ios issue, could you tell us on what version of ios you are on please.

I have the exact same issue, no solution in sight. I am on an iPad Pro 12.9”, 2018, iOS 13.2.3. Just downloaded and ran the latest Streamlabs app for iPad. Streaming the screen capture (streaming an art app) from iPad to Twitch is cropped top and bottom, like a letterbox edition movie, with some skewing. The issue may be due to the iPad aspect ratio of 4:3 vs Twitch stream aspect ratio expectations. So...not sure you guys can fix this one. Alas...I really would love to stream art to Twitch and your app is easy to use, but this won’t work out well. Still digging into possible options.

If you have thoughts/ideas, love to hear them! :)

Darn aspect ratio! I’ll look into that! My PC rig for streaming is Windows + Wacom, so need to do some trial and error with airplay/mirroring. Aspect ratio tablets to Twitch definitely a tough nut to crack. Thanks for the feedback, @Castorr91 ! If you do have updates later, happy to test them out.

I also have this issue! Its cropped which is expected but not in the normal black bars on the side there are also black bars on the top and bottom. Is there a fix for this its really annoying and looks very bad

I have the same issue on my ipad pro 10”5 2017. Streamlabs captures the screen and there are blAck bars around the picture. I guess gotta leave the ios and move to android.
