On the mobile app - donations cause a stutter or fps drop on every occurrence. This is on Android galaxy s10 phone. I have tried many different solutions offered here. None seem to work. This is a common issue with many other streamers. Please help!

Hi there @Boneclinks!

This has been an issue for Galaxy S10 users of our app as it looks like the Samsung OS might've pushed out an update which has been affecting & causing issues with the webview performance which is what all our alerts use. Unfortunately this is something out of our control as this was an OS update that caused this to not work properly, if you are able to reset the Samsung OS and not allow it to update then that should help with fixing the issue you are having, if you are not able to do this then I'm afraid you will have to wait until Samsung comes out with a new update to then see if this helps with fixing the issue.
Thanks!

Hey there @Boneclinks

Are you using intensive donation images, like webms, or similar?

No. Also, the images I have been using have been working, prior to the latest update, for years.

Hey there @Boneclinks

Can you let us know what resolution / fps you’re streaming at within the app?

This issue occurs at all resolutions I use (480p and 720p). I never go higher than 30 fps.

Hi @TheBritishAndy ,

Will there be any fix in the future? If not, could you at least advise on which version of webview to avoid to prevent this issue from happening?
